About counting coins worksheets

Money math is real-life math. These sheets show drawings of US coins in true relative sizes, labeled with their values, and kids add them up to find the total. Kids circle the total from a few choices, which makes checking quick for grown-ups.

First and second graders work with pennies, nickels and dimes, and sometimes simply identify which coin is worth a given amount. Third graders and up add quarters and count bigger groups of coins. Real coins next to the sheet make it even more hands-on.
