About these telling time worksheets
Each question shows a clock face with an hour hand and a minute hand. Kids read the clock and circle the matching time from a few choices. It's a simple, focused way to practice a skill that takes a while to master.
Kindergarten sheets use times to the hour only. First and second grade adds half past and quarter past and to. In third grade and up, the minute hand lands on any five-minute mark, and the wrong answers are close enough to need careful reading.

Questions parents ask
At what age should kids learn to tell time?
Many children learn hours in kindergarten and work toward five-minute times by 2nd or 3rd grade. It often takes a few years of practice.
Is it still worth learning analog clocks?
Yes. Analog clocks are still common, and reading them builds number sense, fractions of an hour and skip counting.
Why does my child confuse the hour and minute hands?
It's a very common mix-up. Remind them the short hand shows the hour and read it first.
